Description
The SMB Year-Round Mentoring Program promotes academic success among mathematical biologists at all career stages through the formation of small group networks. We have several types of mentoring groups:
1. Writing Groups - a group of 4 people who exchange writing samples
2. Accountability Groups - a group of 4 people who meet for goal-setting and mutual accountability
3. Mentoring Pods - a group of ~5 people at different career stages who meet for mentoring
4. Peer-Peer Matches - 2 people at the same career stage who meet for academic accountability and support
This year we will be matching Mentoring Pods. (We will rotate in the future.) Groups are matched once per year for those in attendance at the ECMTB/SMB Annual Meeting. Apply to be matched in a Mentoring Pod by answering the questions on this form (https://tinyurl.com/SMBForm) by 14:00 on Weds 15 July. Then come meet your group members at lunch on Friday 17 July at the Year-Round Mentoring Lunch!
